The 89th Commencement at The New School celebrated unity through intersectionality.
As the sole design intern under creative team led by The New School's Marketing & Communications team, we created a visual identity for the 89th Annual Commencement ceremony.
Led by Grace Hopkins and Rebecca Sherman, the team create a vibrant and dynamic visual identity that visualised unity through intersectionality. This theme was set to reflect the diverse student body across the various schools under The New School.
The result was a colorful visual identity that represented light beams or streamers that intertwine and diverge.
