Introduction
'Disciple' is an immersive and interpretive gaming experience that follows a soul navigating the afterlife, suspended in the space between death and rebirth.
As my senior thesis project at Parsons School of Design, Disciple is thus a visual manifestation of my journey in attaining consciousness and developing a sense of self-identity and direction as a designer & storyteller.

Production
Built as a first-person game simulation using Unreal Engine, the project lets players move fluidly through sculpted worlds modeled with physics, simulated blueprints, and advanced VFX techniques that replicate real-world phenomena and objects.
The game is filled with easter eggs that borrow concepts from Buddhism. This includes game characters, surreal realities, and also visual trajectories.
Every 3D asset in this game was created using Cinema4D and Blender. Techniques used include sculpting, modeling, rigging, Niagara systems, etc.
